PURPOSE OF ORGANIZATION:
|

|
The 440th Alumni
Association, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was established in July,
2006, to form an organization which promotes the fellowship and
camaraderie of past and present members of the 440th Airlift
Wing and its predecessors and to insure that the history of the
unit and its members are preserved.
|
|
MEMBERSHIP:
|
|
Those persons eligible for membership
in the 440th Alumni Association shall be members, in good standing, if during their military service or Federal
Civil Service career, included being assigned to the 440th Troop Carrier Group/Wing; 440th Tactical Airlift Wing;
440th Airlift Wing; or any unit assigned to the organization of the 440th while stationed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
to include all 933rd units, 34th and 95th Aerial Port Squadrons, and the 95th Airlift Squadron.
Any individual who has at any time served with the 440th Airlift Wing is eligible for membership
and is encouraged to join and participate in activities of the 440th Alumni Association. Husbands and/or wives of
440th alumni, who are no longer living, are also eligible for membership in the association.
